In the far north the Cubango river runs wild, offering a lush green experience with hippos snorting and crocodiles idling on the shores. The centre of the land offers breathtaking escarpments and vistas, leading to the open plain Etosha National Park.
Along the rugged Atlantic coastline is where you can find desert dwellers cooling off from wandering through the red dunes in the South.
